Tue, 4 September 2007 Merry Meet Everyone,
We are back again this month interviewing Lisa and Dave regarding the Elven path. For those of you who have not heard about it, the Elven Path is a spirtual path based on some of the works of JRR Tolkien. We found this to be very facinating. Thanks again to Lisa and Dave for their willingness to share some information. Here is a website they provided during the show to go to for more information:
Good news! We have been picked up by the Pagan Radio Network. We are currently on their network for Sundays at 9:00 AM. Thank you Lew for picking up the show. The link to the nework is:
WEBSITE OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER: This is an idea i had to share some interesting websites that i found useful, and that listeners of the show might as well:
A great site to go to for free classic audiobooks.
Shari joins the show this month with the postcript of the show dealing with acceptance.
Thanks again for your support of the show by your votes at WWW.Podcastalley.com and the reviews for us in Itunes. Its another month, please give not only us, but all the other pagan podcasters out there a vote to keep them all up high in the rankings.
As promised, we are still working on our solitary segments. At this time, i still do not know if we are going to include them in the show, or just do a small episode and put it in the feed labeling it a solitary segment. That should be worked out soon, and i will post the information to let everyone know how it will be arranged.
On another note, i have begun to work on improving the sound quality of the show as i am switching to Garageband on the Mac platform. I think the sound quality has improved by doing so. Please let me know what you think whether good or bad, and if you have any suggestions.
By the way, the picture on the podcast that comes up in your Ipod or on iTunes is my dog Tobie. Now when you hear the clack-clack-clack of her walking on the floor, you have an idea of what she looks like:)
Until next show, blessings to you and yours,
Baz

Wed, 1 August 2007 Merry Meet,During this episode we interview Penny Verin-Shapiro, who has spent the last couple of years researching Pagans in the Central Valley of California. During this interview, we discuss many facets of the paganism that could be occurring in many parts of the United States. We like to thank Penny for being gracious enough to allow time for this interview. Thank you all for your support by leaving a review for us in Itunes, along with voting for us at WWW.Podcastalley.com. Its another month, please make sure you go and vote to keep Pagan podcasting up the rankings in the Religion category. On another note, we have some new ideas for the show. Ideas such as incorporating particular segments for solitary Pagans, and a Pagan news segment. Would like to get some feedback from everyone whether this type of items would be beneficial to them. Please send us an email or post to the group. All feedback is appreciated. Tue, 10 July 2007 Merry Meet,During this episode, Tom reviews the book The Triumph of the Moon by Ronald Hutton. If you are looking for a book that provides background on the history of the Wiccan movement, this would be the one you want to read. We celebrate the fact that we have been doing this show for a year now. Thank all of you for your support. We hope to make this next year on the show even better. We discuss during this episode whether or not Pagans need to be confrontational. Does it have a bearing on the movement for those that are not? In situations where conflicts arise for Pagans being challenged from other people from different backgrounds in a disrespectful manner, is it proper to speak up and defend the movement? Or is it better to remain quiet? This is the question we pose and attempt to answer during the show. We would love to hear some feedback from everyone as to what there process is, and whether there is a point where perhaps a switch turns on for the potential of confrontation to begin? Shari begins her joke of the show segment during this episode. Please let us know if this is something that should stay or go. Curious how you can help support the show? We do not accept donations, though offers are appreciated. Instead, if you can vote for us at WWW.Podcastalley.com, or leave a review in Itunes, that would be great. Opening Music: Under a Violet Moon- Blackmore's Night Ending Music: Morrigna- Dagda Until next time, Merry Part, Baz Comments[0] |
Sun, 10 June 2007 Merry Meet, During this episode, we discuss an alarming interview in which former child star Kirk Cameron "Infiltrated" a druid coven. In reality, the coven had allowed him to view their ceremony. During the interview, Kirk Cameron demonstrates his extreme ignorance and lack of tolerance of other paths. So during this episode, we respond to many of the assertions raised by Kirk Cameron, and many other extreme Christians. We end the show sharing our personal stories as to why we were called to paganism, and what it means to us. Opening music- Opening theme song from Indiana Jones. Ending music- Slowride from Foghat. Please do not forget to vote for your favorite pagan podcasts, lets keep them up there in the standings! If any of you would care to respond to this show by sharing your personal story as to what called you to Paganism, please post it to the yahoo group. We will see you in a few weeks, Blessed Be Baz and Tom. Comments[0] |
